MaestroAI collects the following information to provide music practice assistance:

  • Account information (email, name)
  • Practice audio recordings
  • Instrument preferences and practice history
  • Error analysis reports and AI practice suggestions
  • Subscription and payment information

2. Audio Data

Your audio recordings are treated as sensitive personal information. All recordings are encrypted with AES-256 and stored on AWS servers in Sydney, Australia (ap-southeast-2). You can delete any recording at any time.

3. AI Processing

We use the MaestroAI Stack AI endpoint to generate practice suggestions. Data sent to the AI service includes only instrument type, piece name, error statistics, and historical trends. We do not send raw audio or personally identifiable information to the AI provider.

4. Data Storage & Security

  • All data stored in Australia (AWS ap-southeast-2)
  • TLS 1.3 encryption in transit
  • AES-256 encryption at rest
  • Column-level encryption for PII in database

5. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data (via data export in Settings)
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your recordings and account
  • Withdraw consent at any time
